Gold Field College of Education Kolar, establised in 1974, is a reputable institution. This affiliated college is established in the Bangarapet of Karnataka and has been training future educators for almost fifty years.

NCTE-recognised college TMC has kept its standards high, and through the approval of the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE), covering an area of 2 acres of land, Gold Field College of Education is a small institution that has adopted a small student-to-teacher ratio of 69:6 for effective student-teacher interaction.

The Gold Field College of Education boasts of the modern facilities it has put in place to improve the students learning environment. Students are privileged to have an ICT laboratory, which is important for any institution to modernise the face of education by embracing ICT. The college has a large assembly hall to accommodate academic and administrative as well as cultural activities such as seminars.

As it is now, Gold Field College of Education has developed a Master of Education ( M. Ed ) programme to enhance teacher training.

This two-year full-time course has an approved intake capacity of 50 seats in order to serve aspiring educational leaders and entrepreneurs. In line with the State Government of Karnataka and the affiliated university policy, Gold Field College of Education selects students strictly on a merit basis.
