Government Aizawl North College, Aizawl better known as GANC was established in 1988. This affiliated college is located at Chaltlang, Aizawl, Mizoram and it has been catering to the need of the academic community for more than three decades. Gujarat Arts and Science College is spread over 0. 21 Acres of campus is fully accredited by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council, or NAAC.

As of now, the college offers education to 1, 257 students and has 37 committed teachers as its faculties. GANC proclaims 7 undergraduate courses all of which falls under the Bachelor of Arts programme with concentrations in humanities and social sciences.
