Government College, Barwala, was established in the year 2008 and is an affiliated college located in Hisar, Haryana. This growing campus is spread over 16 acres and has been steadily increasing the academic programs and student enrollment.

The total student enrolment is 1,597, with a diverse intake consisting of boys totaling 888 and girls numbering 668, thus maintaining a good environment of gender inclusiveness in higher education. Government College, Barwala has 20 faculty members dedicated to making the institution of learning a place where students grow both in knowledge and stature.

Similarly, there is one-year PGDCA (Post Graduate Diploma in Computer Applications) that is offered by the college.
