Government College, Israna, was started as an affiliated college in 1999. The Institution occupies an area of 36 acres at Israna in Haryana and has been serving the educational needs of this rural area for the last twenty years. Presently, it has a total student enrolment of 834, which is being served by 15 dedicated faculty members.

Government College, Israna, offers three undergraduate programmes that cater to different academic interests and various career aspirations. The college is affiliated with Kurukshetra University .
