Affiliated with the Barkatullah University, Bhopal, Government College, Khilchipur, was set up in year 1988 inKhilchipur, Madhya Pradesh. This co-educational school occupies a small piece of land of approximately 0. 404 acres and provides undergraduate and postgraduate courses. The college has a faculty strength of 5 and offers 5 courses in 4 degree programmes.

It serves both male and female students in order to improve the diversity in the college. Government College, Khilchipur, was established to provide good education in Arts, Commerce and Science where learners are offered the specialised subjects such as Geography, Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Botany and Zoology among others.
