Government College of Nursing, Thrissur

Government College of Nursing, Thrissur is one of the pioneering institutions involved in the private banking education of the nursing in the state of Kerala, India which was started only in 2006. This is an allied health science co-educational college placed in Thrissur district and it provides various courses in nursing for those who is seeking to build a career in health care industry.

It is recognised by the Kerala University of Health Sciences, and is also approved by the Indian Nursing Council (INC) to maintain course standard and quality. Currently, the institute is staffed with 20 experienced professionals who are part of the faculty The institute offer Nursing training with different focus and concentration.

Government College of Nursing, has developed various amenities that aims at improving the learning environment for the learners. A good library enables the availability of a number of materials that are essential in academic and research business. It is found to be used as an occasion, seminar and academic hall that enhances the activities of the campus.

Sc courses in Community Health Nursing, Child Health Nursing, Obstetrics and Gynecology Nursing and Medical Surgical Nursing for 4-5 students each.
