Government College, Pachmarhi, started in 1989 is affiliated to Rani Durgavati University, Jabalpur and is situated in scenic town of Pachmarhi, Hoshangabad district, M. P. Located in the centre of India, this provides an opportunity of higher learning to the students in a calm atmosphere. This small college has significant significance in maintaining the accessibility of educations for the community members.

The college has 117 students joining the institution and 2 members who take the role of faculty making the college’s academic setting compact and personal. Government College is proud to provide crucial facility to improve the quality of student life. BA programme is intended to equip the student with a wide spectrum of humanities and social sciences education in order to fit the numerous opportunities in job market or in the university. Even though the college itself offers only this one degree programme it makes sure that it meets the quality of education within its realm thus fulfilling the responsibility of providing education to the region.
