Government College, Peringome

Government College, Peringome, was started in the year 2014 in Kannur, Kerala, close to the CRPF Recruits Centre and is a co-educational institution. The college is affiliated with Kannur University . This affiliated college, having a 12. 13-acre campus area, provides tremendous numbers of undergraduate and postgraduate courses.

Having a total enrolment of 294 students and a faculty of 18 in each academic year, the college has kept the student-teacher ratio small and compacted. There are four distinctive programmes with the degrees offered by the institution, which include English, Mathematics, and Commerce, to meet the diverse academic needs of all the students who have various dreams when it comes to their careers.

The Government College has equipped various amenities that may supplement the learning process and contribute to student satisfaction. The library plays a central role as a resource centre to provide necessary and adequate information to discharge the academic duties of the students.

Government College, Peringome does offer four courses , all full-time programmes. These include three undergraduate courses: BA English, B. Sc Mathematics , and B. Com Cooperation, and one postgraduate course, MA English.

The maximum capacity of student enrolment in the BA English is limited to thirty students, and the capacity of other courses is unknown. These versatile programmes encourage students to have a focus in Humanities, Science and Commerce in their undergraduates and postgraduate levels.
