Sundargarh Government College located at Sundargarh city of Odisha was set up in 1958. This affiliated college approved by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) has got a wide expansion of under graduate & post graduate programmes. Located on an extensive area of land of 127 acre, the college offers a total intake capacity of 1,498 students and 17 faculty members.

Government College, Sundargarh offers 28 programmes in 9 streams and offers popular courses in Arts, Science, Commerce. It is accredited institution with a belief in quality education and is recognised by the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE).
