Government College, Susner

Swami Vivekananda Government College, Susner was set up in the year 1984. This affiliated college is situated in Susner, Madhya Pradesh and it is nearly four decades old institution for the academic community. The college is fully accredited with National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) indicating its obligation to quality education.

Currently the college admits 1,125 students and is staffed by 13 faculty members, and currently offers three types of undergraduate degrees. The institution’s commitment to education quality is evident from its programme delivery and the accreditation of its courses, and physical infrastructure.

Swami Vivekananda Government College also has departmental laboratories where students perform practical lessons in different fields of study. To nurture the side of the individuals who love taking part in sports and any related physical activities there are available both the indoor and outdoor venues.

Some of the games that may be played indoors include, table tennis, badminton, chess, carom while students can play out door games in a spacious playground where disc throw, kabaddi, cricket and javelin throw may be played among others.

The college is also modernised with regard to technology where issues to do with Wi-Fi are available for use by students and employees, and the IT facilities are as well being upgraded depending on the availability of the government funding. However, the college offers transport allowances for its female candidate to enable ladies to access the college in large numbers.

Government College, Susner offers a total of 4 courses across three degree programmes: These are B. Com , B. Sc and B. A . All the programmes offered are full-time, thus enabling the College to offer students technical knowledge together with hands-on experience in their disciplines. The B. Sc programme has majors in Mathematics, Chemistry, and Physics and there are also majors in Botany, Chemistry, and Zoology.

Various combinations offered include History, Political Science, Sociology, Hindi, and Economics in the BA programme. This means the Government College, Susner has developed efficient ways of admitting all the qualified candidates. It is not clear how each of the courses offered by the college admit students but they probably undergo the various admission process of other government colleges in Madhya Pradesh.
