Government Degree College, Khairathabad, also known as GDC Khairathabad is an acknowledged college in Hyderabad of Telangana state. This affiliated college was set up in 1973, thus, it has been providing education to the community for over forty nine years. The campus areas covers an area of 2. 98 acres and is located at city centre of Hyderabad to facilitate easy access by the students.

GDC Khairathabad embarks undergraduate programmes in numerous fields; it has 35 courses and 5 different graduating types. The college has got accreditation from the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) this means the college aims at providing quality education.

The college spreads over a total area of 92 acres and has a total strength of 3,605 students with a faculty strength of 70 meaning a healthy student-teacher ratio. The college has a library that has acquired approximately 33,000 volumes, and every course offered in the college is represented.

Com Computer Applications, and 300 seats are provided for B. Sc with majors in Applied Nutrition, Botany, and Zoology. Other course like BBA, BCA & B. Com (Taxation) include 60 seats each.
