Government Degree College was established in 1983 and aims at offering high-quality education to the students in various different fields. The college is an affiliated college and has a dedicated faculty that aims towards introducing new methods of teaching and learning for the students to comprehend the concepts easily.

Government Degree College currently offers 7 different courses of BA , B. Sc, B. Com , MA and M. Sc to the interested students in the field of arts, science, and commerce. The courses caters to students who are aiming for both undergraduate as well as postgraduate studies.

Government Degree College admissions are based on merit and thus requires the students to have a recognised 10+2 for undergraduate courses and 10+2+3 for postgraduate courses from a recognised university.
