Government Engineering College, Buxar commonly known as GEC Buxar is one of the recently set-up Government Engineering Colleges. Co-educational institute-affiliated College was established in the year 2019 and approved by All India Council for Technical Education, AICTE. It is located in Buxar, Bihar. The present faculty strength is 27, with an enrolment of 127 students .

The Institute has provided the following facilities for students to sustain life on the campus :. There is a separate boys' and girls' hostel so that students coming from different parts of the country may be assured of a decent living environment. A well-stocked library serves as the knowledge resource centre.

Department-based laboratories form part of the infrastructural facilities in GEC Buxar for hands-on learning.
