The co-educational Government First Grade College at Bangarapet was established in 1985. This affiliated college is located in an 8-acre campus and provides a widearea of specialisation for the 1, 146 enrolled students. Currently, it has 20 committed members of the faculty, offers 12 courses within 6 degrees of study.

ISO 9001: 2015 certified, NAAC accredited, the college is dedicated to imparting quality education in Arts, Commerce, Science faculties. The college boasts of possessing adequate teaching facilities which accord the learners optimum learning environment.

The library that contains books of different subject areas with an estimate of three thousand seven hundred thousand books is another important learning resource center of the faculty for both students and lecturers. And one can also appreciate a comfortable reading room that helps to create the necessary concentration.

To enhance on the practical aspect, the college provides departmental laboratories for the practical session to enable the students to be in touch with the practical session of their respective disciplines. The Dr. B. R. Ambedkar Seminar Hall with a capacity to accommodate 250 students is used for seminars and special lectures.

It is also used for attendance of Edusat sessions, virtual class and remedial coaching thus offering the students variety of learning styles.
