Government First Grade College, Byndoor

Government First Grade College Byndoor was started in the name of first grade college in 1983 at picturesque Byndoor Town of Karnataka. This affiliated college located in the city with its vast 25 acre land area has been preparing young generation for last 37 years. A total of 519 students are enrolled in the college, thus the faculty of the college comprises of 11 members which ensure individual attention.

The institution has a pride in being accredited by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC), therefore ,has quality education standards. With six distinct classes available in four different course areas through four degree programmes, Huntington College meets the needs of a diverse population of students to equip them for life in the 21st century.

This college has some of the best facilities that makers the feel of the college very big and unique to carry out learning. The primary academic facility comprises a library that locates over 22000 books, magazines, journals and newspapers subscriptions. The institution addresses technology by providing well-equipped computer facility, dedicated internet connection and Wireless internet campus.

The hangman and all around jack-of-all-trade, Joe Stall also makes a guest appearance as do department specific labs for the science nerds. The college also focuses on the physical development needs of its students providing different sports amenities which includes 400 meters track, kabaddi, kho-kho, volleyball courts, ball badminton courts, chess and carrom indoor games etc.

A 200 capitol has provided for a cultural and academic center that has enhanced Students’ activities. This institution offer four regular day courses at Government First Grade College, Byndoor with focus in giving students a grounding in their disciplines. List of programmes offered by the college comprises of BBA , BA with majors in different fields, B. Com and B. Sc .
