Government First Grade College Madhugiri, founded in 2001 is a first grade college for men and women located at Tumkur – Karnataka. This affiliated college situated in a 2. 3 acres of land has been peer accredited by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC). The college currently has 1,571 total students and 30 faculty members; it has 11 major programmes spread across 7 degree levels.

Government First Grade College has instated a number of facilities to facilitate the learning process of the students of the college. A library equipped with adequate reading materials informs the learner and is a one stop resource center for all academic information. The institution provides good support for technical innovation; thereby preparing its students for the competitive world of technology.

For practical education, the college provides departmental facilities; so many students get practical experience in their disciplines.
