Government Law PG College was established in the year of 1948 in bikaner and it is one of the reputed and leading Institute in Rajasthan in imparting law education in India. This affiliated college, established in Sector-IV, J. N. V. Colony, Bikaner, is approved by the Bar Council of India (BCI). The campus occupies about 6. 06 acres that create a favorable landscape for legal learning.

The college has a student population of 647 and a faculty of 9 are offered five courses spread across four degree programmes in the field of law. Therefore, the following is a breakdown of the institute’s programmes which are; LLB, LLM, PGD Labour Law, and Ph. D. in Law. To cater the speciality behaviour, there is PGD in Labour Law (Self Finance) with strength of 20.

The college also has produces a doctor of philosophy in law for anyone interested in engaging in research or teaching in the field of law. Overall the college has been given a capacity to admit 340 students in all its programmes, which makes a great contribution to the college’s intake of students in the field of law.

About admission procedure for courses of the college itself is not described in details, however, most of the law colleges give importance to merit and entrance test scores and sometimes Universities may call for group discussions or interviews.
