Government Medical College, The Nilgiris was founded in year 2021. This is an affiliated college co-educational institution that is located in Udhagamandalam, Tamil Nadu, NMC approved. The college which is located at Indunagar Mysore Road currently have only one course that is the MBBS course.

It is therefore, founded to help respond to the increasing demand for quality educational institutions focusing on medical education. There are several amenities in the Government Medical College, some of which are described below to support the students’ academic endeavours. The library holds medical Literature and Research materials where students are able to read wide and from medical literature and books.

The detailed admission procedure of The Nilgiris Government Medical College to a large extent depends on the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test ( NEET ).
