Government Medical College at Sangareddy was established in the year 2021 and hence is one among the new generation of medical colleges in Telangana, India. Sangareddy is a co-educational institution that is affiliated to Kaloji Narayan Reddy University and has been the NMC recognised institution.

Although established recently, it has grown fast to produce MDs into the nation, with fully accredited MBBS programme for full-time students admitting 150 students per session.
