Government PG Law College, Sikar

It is affiliated college situated in Sikar, Rajasthan was established in 2005 as Govt PG Law College, Sikar. RIALS is located at Rajasthan, Jhunjhunu District, near Railway Gate, Dasa Ki Dhani, on the Jhunjhunu Bypass. The college occupies a 12. 35 acre piece of land and thus it provides a per conducive ground for learning in a befitting manner.

The college is currently having a total enrolment of 609 students and staffed by a faculty of 11 committed individuals. Government PG Law College, Sikar provides three different courses of law at undergraduate and postgraduate level for students intended on the profession of legal academics or a career in law.

Govt PG Law College still aims to ensure that its students receive their worth through provision of the following facilities to facilitate education to the learners. Knowledge center of the library offers students all necessary literature and resources concerning the field of law. As a college, it has good IT facilities, to meet the growing technological world of the law firm as the student will be facing in future.

One which I found particularly impressive is the moot court where student can practice advocacy with realistic courtroom arrangement. Sporting facilities for those persons interested in physical exercise are also evident in any given campus. The college also has a health center with first aid with an agenda of ensuring students’ health is well taken care of.

Moreover, the institution actively develops alumni, which can offer good opportunities both to students and members of the institution who graduated. Government PG Law College, Sikar is offering a limited list of programmes in law and the college has full time programmes listed only three.

These include Bachelor of Laws ( LLB ), Post Graduate Diploma in Labour Law (PGD Labour Law) and Master of Laws ( LLM ) in Personal Law. Undergraduate programmes have the largest enrolment as the foundational course in legal studies, the LLB has the largest number of seats at 240.

Administrated by the Faculty of Law, the PGD Labour Law has 40 seats while the LLM Personal Law Self Finance programme also has 40 seats for students who seek a more in-depth knowledge in law. All the programmes we offer are in full-time study mode, thereby guaranteeing learners full and intensive legal training.
