Government Polytechnic Aurai admissions are offered to diploma courses, in different subjects, such as Diploma in Electronics Engineering, Computer Science and Engineering and Information Technology.

Government Polytechnic Aurai admissions are done through a centralised counselling process on the basis of scores in Uttar Pradesh Joint Entrance Exam Polytechnic (JEECUP) conducted by the Joint Entrance Examination Council Lucknow. For GP Aurai admissions, the candidates must satisfy the eligibility criteria before applying.

Government Polytechnic Aurai has a seat intake of 60 for each course translating into a total intake of 180 seats. Those who obtain a valid score in the required entrance examination and meet the required educational qualification, will be granted GP Aurai admissions.
