Government Polytechnic College, Ambikapur, was established in the year 1982 and is one of the major technical institutions in the Surguja district of Chhattisgarh. This affiliated college, approved by AICTE, runs various diploma programmes in different branches of engineering. The institution spreads over 24 acres of campus and has a total student enrolment of 547 and a faculty strength of 20.
