Government Polytechnic College, Jalore

Government Polytechnic College, Jalore was set up in 2011 in Pali district of Rajasthan state, is affiliated to Rajasthan University. This technical institution recognised by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) offers only diploma in engineering disciplines. Having an annual total student enrolment capacity of 35 and a faculty of 14 members the college is an intellectual nicety of academic setting.

The institute has four full –time diploma courses Football Science and Engineering, Electrical Engineering and Electronics Engineering each for a period of three years. Although it is comparatively new institution, Government Polytechnic College, Jalore aims to be one of leading institutions in engineering education for young generation.

To supplement college education and foster the student experience, the college features a number of facilities. This is to provide a comfortable accommodation to learners from different areas and the campus has provided a different hostel for boys and girls. A well/kgarnished library is exceptional in that it acts as the center of learning by offering the necessary learning resources to the student.

The college possesses a good IT structure that gives the students a feel of modern technology which is important in their education. Robertson College offers sporting facilities for the necessary overall development of students in matters concerning stamina and teamwork. An availability of first aid facilities in a health centre is important since it provides medical care to the college populace.

The campus also provides a facility, canteen, where students and staff go to take a break from their busy schedules and take food. At present, Government Polytechnic College, Jalore is running four diploma programmes all of which are only on campus. They are Diploma in Computer Science and Engineering , Diploma in Electrical Engineering, Diploma in Interior Decoration and Diploma in Electronics Engineering .

All these programmes have intake of 30 students, making the overall per course seats to be 90. This focused approach results in the college being able to provide small classes that could make it easier to address needs of students, faculty member and student interaction.
