Government Polytechnic College, Nagaur

Government Polytechnic College, Nagaur or GPC Nagaur is a technical college, situated in RIICO Industrial Area, Nagaur, Rajasthan and is believed to be set up in 2013. This affiliated college recognised by the All India Council for Technical Education, New Delhi offers a numbers of Diploma courses in various fields of engineering.

GPC Nagaur spread over a small area of 5 acres has a total strength of 159 students and has team of 14 efficient faculty members. There are six diploma courses offered in the college covering different branches of engineering that aims in meeting the needs of technicians and engineers in the region.

Thus, Government Polytechnic College Nagaur has many facilities Mentally, physically and technologically developed to help its students develop in every aspect and in turn help them gain a better learning experience. The college library is one of the knowledge centres; in fact, a rich source of knowledge to aid the learning process.

Technology which comprises of the best information technology facilities are provided to link the students as well as equip them with the pertinent digital technologies. Specialised departmental laboratories give practicing experiences as they use the theories get to practice in simulated testing grounds.

For overall personality development the college also has sports equipment for physical fitness and team spirit and other curricular activities. Also, a health centre has first aid facilities to meet the emergency medical concerns of the college community for its health needs.

There are total six full-time diploma courses available in the institute and all these are regular courses including diploma in civil , Electronics, Mechanical . These courses cut across almost all branch of engineering to enable the students to effectively receive technical education.

The sanctioned intake for all courses is 270, thus showing the competency of the college to produce a large number of trainee technician every year. Although graduation rate for the last year is missing, educational mission and practical approach of the college targets to prepare graduates for career success upon graduation.
