Government Girls Polytechnic, Surat, was one of the foremost technical institutes established in the year 1965. The all-women's polytechnic at Athwa Gate, Nanpura, Surat, Gujarat, India, aims at imparting quality technical education to its students. This institution offers a lot of technical diploma courses in several branches of Engineering. The institution is approved by AICTE, New Delhi.

The enrolment comprises 1,138 students in total and a faculty strength of 40 members, thus ensuring an extremely conducive student-teacher ratio for effective learning. The Institute is fully equipped with various facilities to further its objective of providing a better learning ambiance and facilities to the students for all-round development.
