Government Polytechnic Lakhimpur Kheri was established in 1983-84. After the establishment of the institute, they had only one branch, which was a two-year diploma in Pharmacy. At present, Government Polytechnic Lakhimpur Kheri has various branches, which include Chemical Engineering, Paint Engineering, Plastic Mould Technology, and others.
