The Government Polytechnic Siddipet was established in the year 2008 with two conventional courses of 3-year full-time Diploma programmes in the Engineering and Architecture fields. The GP Siddipet is approved by the All India Council for Technical Education, New Delhi. The department has well-qualified, experienced, and dedicated faculty providing an excellent teaching & learning environment.

Government Polytechnic Siddipet is affiliated with the State Board of Technical Education and Training Hyderabad. Government Polytechnic Siddipet Diploma courses are offered in the specialisations of Computer Science and Engineering , and Electronics and Communication Engineering .
