Government Polytechnic Vadnagar was established in 2003. GP Vadnagar is recognised by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) and is administered by the Directorate of Technical Education Gujarat.

Government Polytechnic Vadnagar offers diploma courses with five specialisations which comprise civil engineering , computer science, Information and communication technology, mechanical engineering and architecture.
