Government Sanskrit College Sundernagar was established in the year 1923, is a historical educational centre situated at Sundernagar district of Himachal Pradesh. It is an affiliated college where exclusive facility of specialised Sanskrit courses has been imparting traditional Indian knowledge system since 1921.

The college has a total number of 516 students and employs 9 faculty members and that sort of setting helps develop profound understanding of Sanskrit literature and cultural studies. It conducts a BA Shastri programme which is continued with the general aim of preserving the tradition of Sanskrit Scripturalism.
