Government Women’s Polytechnic College, Kozhikode recognized in 1962 imparting technical education specially to women in the state of Kerala. This affiliated college is located in Malapramba Calicut and situated in a 4. 25 acre is a safe heaven for the aspiring women engineers.

Accredited by the All India Council for Technical Education AICTE the institute have established itself as providing the best diploma curriculum. The college has a strength of 285 students and 21 faculties The college being small in size, pays individual attention and proper care for all students and help in their growth.

Government Women’s Polytechnic College at Kozhikode has two courses of study – Full time Diploma courses which take, three years in total. The Diploma in Electronics Engineering and the Diploma in Commercial Practice were developed to meet the trade requirements of the students. Each program has an intake approval to admit 60 students a year which sums up to 120 students per year.
