The GR Damodaran Academy of Management was set in Coimbatore in the year 2005, a professional institution that aims to produce outstanding business leaders. Sree Vidyanikethan Educational Trust’s affiliated college is in Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu; it sits on a meagre 4. 05-acres piece of land. The academy is appreciated for it quality education and this is proved by its recognition by AICTE.

At present, it caters to 97 students and 20 faculties of the college that makes it small learning community. GR Damodaran Academy of Management owns several new equipment required in speaking and in all learning areas that would help to improve the student’s performance.

The campus comprises of male and female hostels to ensure that students have a secure place to live in with adequate security throughout the compound. To meet the physical needs of the community, an ultra-modern gym, accompanied with multi-gym facilities have been provided. A mini-library of the college contains more than 6,368 volumes, 54 national and international journals and 27 magazines, along with 420 CDs.

Management programmes offered by GR Damodaran Academy of Management include basic management programmes that suits the various educational requirements. It issues full time programmes like MBA and MBA in International Business and these last for two years. The part-time programmes are offered for those students who want to combine work with study. PGD in Entrepreneurship Development and M. Phil in Management .

The academy also has doctorate degrees with full-time and part-time Ph. D. in Management taking approximately six years.
