Amarapur is a Secondary Teachers Training Gram Sarvajanik Education Trust B Ed College, Amrapur, that was established in the year 2005. It was one of the institutes that was established to train the best teachers. The state of Gujarat came into existence in the year 1960, and it needed the teacher training institutes to cater needs of school Education.

It was the vision of Shri Kunvarjibhai Bavaliya that students of Gujarat must get a qualitative education. The institute has been working for the noble cause of society. It is its 15th year of service to school education in the state of Gujarat. Our library provides support in research and resource linkage for students with a large collection of books, journals, and Audio-visual resources.

The computer lab serves as the center for teaching computer use to whole classes, usually by a specialist computer teacher. The college is well equipped with science laboratories and Educational Technology for the use of students.

Gram Sarvajanik Education Trust B Ed College, Amrapur, an affiliated College of Saurashtra University, Rajkot, offers a full-time professional pre-service teacher education programme of the duration of two academic years( Four semesters) leading to a Bachelor of Education (B. Ed. ) degree from Saurashtra University, Rajkot. The institute has a 50/50-seat intake for the B. Ed. course every year/Semester.

Admission is given by Saurashtra University, and the Exam is conducted by the University. The syllabus is also approved by Saurashtra University. Two-year B. Ed. The programme of the Saurashtra University consists of theory courses and a practicum.
