Gram Seva Mahavidyalay, Amrapur, was established in 1985 as an affiliated college based in Gandhinagar, Gujarat. This rural education and development-oriented institution is spread over 7 acres of land. At the college, there are a total of 196 students, together with a faculty of 8, thus offering a person-to-person learning environment.

There are two courses offered in Gram Seva Mahavidyalay: BRS and MRS, specifically focused on the needs of rural development and agriculture. Gram Seva Mahavidyalay has various facilities provided to students to aid in learning and all-round development. The well-organised library comprises more than 9,000 books, 98 magazines, and 3 daily newspapers.

Students have adequate resources for making researches and studying for their tests. Well-equipped laboratories are available at this institution, especially in agricultural chemistry studies. Students can be exposed to practical experiences on land, fertiliser, water, and milk analysis. There is also a sports facility and an auditorium for events, seminars, and extracurricular activities.

Separate computer labs are available on the campus for the Girls' School, Secondary, and Higher Secondary students, which makes the technology accessible to all of them. Gram Seva Mahavidyalay provides two full-time courses: one 3-year Bachelor of Rural Studies( BRS ) and another, a 2-year Master of Rural Studies( MRS ) programme.
