Gramodaya Mahavidyalaya, Jodhpur

Gramodaya Mahavidyalaya, Jodhpur was started in 1992 and is situated in Rajasthan, India and it is affiliated college. Located in a very large piece of land of 13. 08 acres, this co-educational institution has been imparting knowledge in its students for over three decades.

The college is recognised by the National Council for Teacher Education abbreviated as NCTE perpetuating calidad education in the expertise of training teachers. Due to a small and selective enrolment, there are 294 first-year students and 20 members of faculty at Gramodaya Mahavidyalaya.

In total, the institute offers four different courses in three degrees thus it aims at offering different programs for student with different learning goals and career objectives. The Gramodaya Mahavidyalaya has many fine-tuning amenities in place to improve the students many aspects. It functions as an information center by offering students a wide range of academic materials to use.

This is especially as regards to sports and games lovers which are privileged to access of a well fitted gym, with different playground zones across the twenty acres of the college environment. Well equipped technologically with computerised labs as an important technological aspect of the academic process.

The college also includes an auditorium called the ‘Anna Audi,’ which is a structure of architectural brilliance constructed over an area of 15,436 square feet and can comfortable host 1,800 students. This resourceful centre that has centralised air conditioning system and internet connectivity, is used for holding various events and meetings and contribute towards the academic and spirited life locally.

Here it is clear that total number of courses offered through this institution are only four, all of these courses are full time in nature. These include two blended programmes namely the BA B. Ed programme and the B. Sc B. Ed programme which are each a four year Programme with an NCAA approved carrying capacity of one hundred students for each Programme. Also, the college provides three years BA and B.

Sc programs which are offered as discrete courses. There is no specific procedure for admission in Gramodaya Mahavidyalaya but it differs from course to course. While, in the case of Integrated BA B. Ed and B. Sc B. Ed programmes, admissions are done on merit depending on the result of the qualifying the examination and/entrance test.

The criteria of choosing candidates follow the regulations provided by the state government/Union Territory administration and the affiliated university.
