Guru Gobind Singh Government Polytechnic, Cheeka, is a premier technical institution in the state, established in 2006. This governmental polytechnic is situated at Cheeka, Haryana, and is spread over 16 acres. GGSGPC is an affiliated college approved by AICTE and delivers quality education in different branches of Engineering.
This institution has an enrolment of 367 students with a strength of 17 faculty members, thereby providing personal attention to every student. GGSGPC offers five diploma courses which are full-time programmes specialised in Civil, Computer, Electrical, Electronics and Communication, and Mechanical Engineering. The institute aims to provide a good learning environment and modern facilities to the students.
GGSGPC has a well-stocked library with more than 15,200 books to meet the academic requirements of students and faculty. The campus is fully fledged with modern laboratories, including department-specific laboratories of Electronics and Communication Engineering, like Analog Electronics, Digital Electronics, and Power Electronics laboratories.
The institute provides hostels for both boys and girls to make the students feel comfortable and at ease. The boys' hostel is under construction, which is a triple-story building and has a capacity of 80 students. These diploma programmes are developed and designed to provide a strong foundation in their respective fields of Engineering so that they have productive careers in the industry or further studies.
