Gurukul College of Education, Rewa, was founded in 2017 is a co-educational college situated at Anantpur Parasnagar, Rewa, Madhya Pradesh which is a part of DAV management run affiliated college for committed quality teacher education. Situated in a small piece of land measuring 1/3 acre, Gurukul College of Education is the one that prepares educators perfectly.

Currently the college has its strength of 196 students and faculty is having 16 members Our college also has the right strength of student faculty ratio that facilitates individual attention and counselling sessions. The Gurukul College of Education has availed itself with all the necessary facilities for academic purposes that may in one way or the other improve the learning ability or the character of the students.

A well stocked library as the source of knowledge while skills base laboratories allow students practical experiences . This is obvious from the college’s provision of sporting facilities and a gymnasium to foster physical fitness in cooperation with the academic achievements of the College. An auditorium is available to host many events and seminars to maintain students’ active and energetic community.

The institution also emphasises student affairs through comprising a health centre with facilities for first aid treatment. In regard to this, Gurukul College of Education has embraced remarkable IT infrastructure since the education sector has gone social. At the time of the present time, Gurukul College of Education provides only one course, known as Bachelor of Education ( B. ED ) programme. This two years full-time programme is aimed at producing professional and spirited educators. Though it fails to determine the number of seats, the total student intake capacity in the college is 196; thus, making a large group for this course.

This provides the institution with the opportunities to direct its strength and competence on the delivery of an excellent teacher training programme. Admission policies of Gurukul College of Education are in compliance with policies as provided by the state government, U. T. Administration and university to which it is affiliated.

The admission to the course of study is determined on the basis of the qualifying examination as well as the entrance examination. The college may also use other method(s) that are still in practice in fulfilling the requirement of the selection criteria. It means that only worthy candidates having a desire to become a teacher to improve their skill level will be able to get a shot at teaching.
