The Ayurvedic Medical College founded by Hanuman Shikshan Prasarak Mandal is in Peth Vadgaon district of Maharashtra state and was established in the year of 1989. This affiliated college is CCIM recognised offering a BAMS course for the students of Indian medicine. Located in a 5. 5 acre locality, the institute takes a total of 245 students at a time and has a facility of 23 teachers.

The college is co-educational which gives male as well as female candidates to take Ayurvedic education in the college. A number of infrastructures are available in the Ayurvedic Medical College to enhance students' academic and individual development. The length of this programme is six years which offers an extensive understanding of Ayurvedic techniques and information. The approved admission capacity of the college is 60 for the BAMS course and out of total strength of 245 students. This approach meaningfully helps to sustain the student-to-faculty ratio in the institution, so that students can get the focus and quality education in the field of Ayurveda.

DVD students must have passed 10+2 examination or equivalent from any recognised board/university with at least 45% marks in sum total of Physics, chemistry and biology as optional subjects for general category applicants and 40% for SC/ST/OBC/PH applicants. The college works under; AYUSH, CCIM New Delhi, Admission Regulating Authority Mumbai, and MUHS Nashik for admission procedures.

The BAMS course at the college is offered for six years giving students an opportunity to practice Ayurvedic medicine.
