Harishchandra Mahavidyalaya, Faizabad, an affiliated college, was established in 2005 in Sarauli, Faizabad-Uttar Pradesh. This is co-educational institution affiliated with the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE), having two courses at undergraduate level. The course leading to the award of B. Ed is a two-year programme and has an approved student capacity of one hundred students, a revelation of the college importance in producing teachers. Basically, the admission process of Harishchandra Mahavidyalaya is different for different programmes admitted in this institution. As for the B.
Ed programme, the selection is competitive where applicants are evaluated according to their performance in the previous course when it comes to marks in the qualifying examination/entrance test. The college has adheres to the set admission standard as provided by the state government and the university.
