HI-Tech College of Engineering Bhubaneswar (HCE) rightly holds its pride among the premier engineering institutions that offer a plethora of engineering courses. The college thus follows a competitive, streamlined admission process conforming to the rules laid down by the government.
HCE mainly admits students through the following two entrances: Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main and Odisha Joint Entrance Examination (OJEE). The JEE Main ranking shall be a must for HCE Bhubaneswar admission for those aspirants who are inclined towards pursuing a bachelor's degree in technology in the particular academic year. The OJEE marks are also accepted for HCE Bhubaneswar admissions.
Entry requirements and qualifications are under the purview of the government, and these are the criteria for the aspirants to enter. HCE Bhubaneswar carries out direct B. Tech programmes via OJEE lateral entry to third-semester (second-year) entry. This entry is kept specially for the students having diplomas or B. Sc graduates willing to pursue Bachelor's degree programmes in engineering.
HCE Bhubaneswar admission cycle generally runs parallel to the JEE Main and OJEE schedules. Though there can be changes in the dates indicated every year, the procedure starts soon after the results of the respective entrance examinations are declared.
