HIMCAPES' College of Law, Una

The Una based legal education institution known as HIMCAPES’ College of Law was founded in 2006. Located on a vast area of a land, this affiliated college is known for its efforts for offering quality education in field of law.

HIMCAPES’ College of Law which has been given the approval by the Bar Council of India (BCI) is poised to offer the admission in two broad programmes in law for prospective law students and professionals. Consequently, the college admits 303 students at a time, and it has a combined faculty of 12.

HIMCAPES’ College of Law proudly presents a range of essential facilities used to facilitate learning as well as the development of students. Referral: School must have a good stocked with legal resource, books, journals, and periodicals which are well stocked in a modern equipped library.

It also has computer facilities with internet connection which affords the students’ use of information technology and the approved legal softwares. Prospective lawyers are able to benefit from college well-equipped with a large moot court which provides real life feel of the law courts.

HIMCAPES’ College of Law has two full-time law programmes which ensure that a student’s academic background and desired career path will be in mind. The 5-year integrated degree course offered in BA LLB (Hons) has a total of 80 seats of intake and the 3-year LLB programme has a seating capacity of 60.

These programmes are intended to offer an all round legal education which integrates academic understanding with practical competencies. HIMCAPES ‘College of Law has the traditional method of selecting its students whereby majority of the students offered admissions have to satisfy the admission board by performing extra ordinary in their high school results.

For the five-year integrated course BA LLB (Hons) the candidates are selected based on their performance in the qualifying examinations.
