HL Agrawal College of Education, Betul

HL Agrawal College of Education for boys and girls situated in Betul district of Madhya Pradesh, India was established in 2014. This affiliated college is located on a small plot of about one acre of land It offers approved courses in the field of teaching through the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE). It has two kinds of specific education courses which can accommodate a total of 192 students.

The college also has a teaching staff of 16 well qualified faculty members ensuring the college has a small student-teacher ratio thus promoting effectiveness in the learning process of the teacher trainees. The seats provide array of facilities that are intended to add value to the academic achievements of the learners in the college.

The facilities available are up-to-date laboratory facilities, where students are able to practice a number of areas. Serving the cause of the IT revolution the college also boasts of rich IT facilities where in the students are familiar with the modern techniques of education.

Apart from ensuring the student’s academic needs are met the institute has provided for quality sports and gym facilities that nurture the student’s physical wellbeing. A canteen in the college provides some space for leisure and fellowship for students while a hall provides for diverse events of the college inclusive of seminars.

The college also has a health concern for the students and the institution has health center with first aid facilities in cases of sickness. HL Agrawal College of Education offers teacher education through two full time programmes . The two main programs of INTEC are the B. Ed. Programme , with an intake capacity of 100 students, and the D. El. Ed. Programme, with the intake capacity of 50 students.

Each of the programmes takes two years to complete and upon completion, prepares students to be viable instruments in the academic arena. The total enrolment of the college is equal to its intake capacity of 192 enrolments and shows that there is a good market for the college’s educational packages.
