Hope Institute of Teacher's Training, Tikamgarh

The Hub of learning known formally as Hope Institute of Teacher’s Training was founded in the year 2009 in Tikamgarh district of Madhya Pradesh. Located at a distance of about 8 kms from Jhansi Road, this institute for higher learning is co-educational entity preparing future teachers. This institute situated across an area of 4. 24 acres of land provides two teacher education courses.

Recognized by the National Council for Teacher Education the Hope Institute is an affiliated college offering teacher training programs with strict standards in place. The institute currently offers education to 281 students who are assisted by 18 faculty members to enable the institute offer personalized quality education.

Facilities are among some of the features that make the institute proud to provide for the students in order to improve the their learning ability. Modern laboratories such as Biotechnology, Zoology, Chemical and Physical Sciences laboratory are conductive to practical lessons.

A modern fully equipped for soundproof and air conditioning auditorium for guest lectures, workshops, and students’ presentations is provided. The campus also has a hygienic cafeteria, a health center equipped with first aid and a good Information technology system.

For physical fitness, the institute has a gym; and large space is provided for a variety of outdoor exercises like cricket, football, handball, and others. Hope Institute of Teacher's Training offers two full-time courses : B. ED & D. EL. ED Bachelor of Education and Diploma in Elementary Education. The B. Ed programme has an intake capacity of 100 seats and the D. El. Ed programme have a strength of 50 seats.

The two courses take two years so that the would-be teachers can be trained effectively. Accordingly, the two pedagogical programmes underlined in the institute let concentrate on the teacher education and develop student’s competencies to achieve successful performance in the educational sphere.

The admission policy at Hope Institute of Teacher’s Training entails the use of marks scored in the qualifying examination and where necessary entrance examinations. The selection of students is done according to polices of the government and the university to which the institute is affiliated.
