HP College of Law, Kala Amb

HP College of Law Kala Amb, affiliated College started in the year of 2003 located at Sirmour, Himachal Pradesh. Recognised by Bar Council of India, this is a University offering education in the field of law. Appraised in a 5 acre compound, the college has two law programs in total and the number of students enrolment yearly is 485.

Currently, there are 10 skilled personnel within the faculty to enhance the student interaction ratio. HP College of Law offers two specialized programs in the field of law hence preparing aspiring legal professionals in that region. Varying facilities are provided in this college to improve the learning process for the students.

A library equipped with state of art facilities is established as a store house of books, journals and periodicals of various subjects of law. The library is totally computerized and includes a Wi-Fi corner with photocopying/ duplicating and printer services. Regarding practical training the college comprises of a Moot Court whereby the students are in a position to practice advocacy in a court like setting.

There is also provision of up to date computer laboratories for use by the students in both document preparation and software development. G renamed Hostel and women’s hostel are provided for both boys and girls in independent buildings with spacious, well-ventilated rooms and all conveniences.

College cafeteria is also a relaxation area for students and staff where everyone is able to take a break from the intensive academic plan. HP College of Law offers two full-time law courses: a 3-year LLB programme and a 5-year integrated BA LLB programme . Such programmes are advertised as systems for the delivery of full legal education, with the systematic elements of theory and practice.

This we consider as a sign of willingness to keep class sizes reasonable for teaching and learning to occur effectively. The college emphasizes developing all round legal professionals capable of bringing solutions to the legal industry. Therefore, the admission process for law programs in HP College of Law is aimed at identifying good caliber and motivated students.
