The IIHT Champa came into existence in the year 2006 and is a prominent educational centre worshipping the area of handloom and textile technology. This is a stand-alone college based in Champa Chhattisgarh, approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE). This makes this institution in line with standards set by most institutions in India.

Located on a massive 22-acre campus, IIHT Champa has a more specialised approach to education for students developing their skills for the textile industry. As for now, the institute has a total of 67 students and 5 faculties In order to provide an individual focus on their clients, the institute specialised in several programmes and offers practical experience.
