Indian Institute of Management Bangalore provides financial support to the students by providing several scholarships to the students. As per IIM Bangalore scholarship policy, all the students who have an annual household income of less than Rs 6,00,000 can apply for scholarships and financial aid.

In addition, students who encounter severe financial difficulties because of sudden unforeseen circumstances are also eligible to apply for Indian Institute of Management Bangalore scholarships and financial aid. The approval of financials is a two-step process at IIM Bangalore .

The first step involves giving scores to students based on their - annual gross household income, real estate assets, household savings, and other assets. The students are called for a personal interaction based on the score. The faculty evaluates the financial needs of students and the genuineness of details that student has provided in the application form.

Based on the average of the score given after reviewing the application form and the score given during interaction, the applicants are provided 20 percent, 40 percent, 60 percent, 80 percent, or 100 percent financial aid.
