IIM Kashipur offers scholarships to help financially disadvantaged and deserving students. The institute offers Need cum Merit Based Financial Assistance to up to 10% of the PGP pursuing candidates. The Indian Institute of Management Kashipur scholarship is available for both 1st year PGP and 2nd year PGP students. Up to 23 students in the first year and 23 students in the second year are awarded the scholarship.

As per the IIM Kashipur scholarship criteria, 10 participants are awarded the scholarship based on need, 10 participants are awarded the scholarship based on need cum merit and 3 participants based on merit. IIM Kashipur scholarships are offered to the students having good merit score and unstable financial condition.

However, some central government scholarships like the Central Sector Scholarship Scheme of Top-Class Education for Scheduled Castes Students, National Fellowship and Scholarship for Higher Education of ST Students, etc can also be availed at IIM Kashipur .
