The Public Health Foundation of India (PHFI) founded the Indian Institute of Public Health Gandhinagar (IIPHG) in 2015. The IIPH Gandhinagar scholarships are P & G Health Scholarship, Emmes Scholarship Fund and Dr P. G. Tulpule Scholarship Fund. To avail IIPHG scholarships, candidates must meet the eligibility criteria and complete the scholarship application form and submit all necessary enclosures at IIPHG. These IIPH Gandhinagar scholarships are offered to Indian nationals.
The application for the IIPHG scholarship will be reviewed by a select scholarship committee. The decision to call a candidate for an interview or to select a candidate for the scholarship is final, and no objection is considered. IIPH Gandhinagar Scholarships and Eligibility Criteria Scholarship Eligibility Criteria P & G Health Scholarship This scholarship is for self-sponsored students enrolled on the M. P. H programme across IIPHs. This scholarship is given to students who have a good academic record, demonstrated financial need, and a strong desire to pursue a career in public health.
This will be determined by: Previous academic background and demonstrated need to be expressed by the respective candidates in a ‘Statement of Purpose’. Preference is given to students belonging to socially and economically deprived communities, including SC, ST, OBC and PH/VHC/HI can avail this scholarship.
The 'P & G Health Scholarship' will provide 'full, half, or part' scholarships based on the applicant's demonstrated need. Emmes Scholarship Fund This scholarship (full/ half/ part) fund is available to students enrolling for Master of Public Health ( M. P. H ) programmes at IIPHs. Candidates with a strong interest in Public Health will be awarded the scholarship.
This will be determined by: Previous work experience in public health or previous education or research projects focusing on public health. Preference will be given to meritorious students, Socially and economically weaker sections, candidates having relevant work experience in public health in backward and rural districts in India and women candidates. Tulpule Scholarship Fund This full/part scholarship fund will be available to students enrolling for PGDPHM courses at PHFI. This scholarship is awarded to candidates who have a specific interest in Public Health Nutrition.
This will be determined by: previous work experience in public health nutrition or previous education or research projects focusing on public health nutrition or specific focus on public health nutrition in the proposed course of study at IIPHs. Preference is given to Women candidates and candidates with NGO work experience, or who will work in backward and rural districts in India pot PGDPHM course.
