Indira College of Nursing, Thiruvallur

Indira College of Nursing (ICN), started the year 2006, is the affiliated college located at Thiruvallur, Tamil Nadu. This is a INC approved institution that has been molding the nursing caregivers education for over one decade. Located on a colossal 5acre land, ICN provides a number of nursing courses for the 263 enrolled learners.

Currently the college is endowed with a corps of 32 dedicated members of faculty, thus enhancing the student/teacher ration. 7 programmes at 3 levels of degrees give students at ICN the necessary skills to navigate through the today’s complex nursing hierarchy. Indira College of Nursing has many facilities that serve to create a favourable environment for learning among students.

The institute has a spacious library and knowledge centre which fulfils the requirements of the students and faculty of ICN. It also has appropriate IT facilities on the campus that provides students to update themselves with advanced technology used in the facilities. In philosophy of total development, the college provides for sporting activities and academic/ cultural hall for forums and other activities.

The welfare of the people is well taken care of there is provision of an on-campus health centre that deals with first aid. Indira College of Nursing provides various courses of nursing comprising 7 full time courses on different specialization. Presently the college offers one B. Sc Nursing programme , five M. Sc programmes and one diploma course GNM .
