Indira Gandhi Government College Tezu was established in 1986 and accredited by NAAC with a B+ grade in 2006 (Cycle-I), a B++ grade in 2016 (Cycle-II) and a B grade in 2024 (Cycle-III). The IGGC Tezu is recognised by UGC, New Delhi. Indira Gandhi Government College offers a total of 3 courses in undergraduate programmes which include B. A, B. Com , and B. Sc.
