Indrayani Vidya Mandir’s Indrayani Institute of Pharmacy, Pune, Maharashtra, is a young centre for creating future pharmacy educators and learners, established in 2017. Located at an approximated 15 acres behind Indrayani Mahavidyalaya in Talegaon Chakan Road, this affiliated college has a standard learning environment.

Education in the sector of pharma being what it is, the institute boasts of the Pharmacy Council of India (PCI) and the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE). Currently the institute has 114 students enrolled and a faculty of 8, which gives personal attention to every student.

Indrayani Vidya Mandir's Indrayani Institute of Pharmacy, Pune is affiliated with the college Maharashtra State Board of Technical Education, Mumbai. Indrayani Institute of Pharmacy encompasses a variety of facilities that are recent in order to make the privileges and the entire learning experience richer.

Equipped centrally within the learning source is a large library with a reading hall as well as an e-laboratory, ensuring that students have all the knowledge they need. In light of this, our college has deeply invested itself technologically through great support in information technology with a computer centre with state-of-the-art compute and software and free Wi-Fi throughout the college.

Students are also able to use a host of sophisticated pharmacy laboratory equipment, which is important in practical skill building in pharmaceutical sciences. The institute also cares for the health of students; it specialises in sports grounds for outdoor and indoor games, a paid gymnasium for those who are interested in weightlifting, and a health centre with first aid amenities.

In the course of the study, female students are eased by the presence of the girls’ hostel facilities, thus an improvement in the standard of student accommodation. The college-going life is complemented by a cafeteria, which provides refreshment and also a venue for fellowship.

As for the academic programmes, further development of the school and postgraduate programmes, Indrayani Institute of Pharmacy concentrates only on delivering pharmacy diploma education for now. This has led to the establishment of the D. Pharma course, which is a two-year full-time fulltime programme offered at the institute.

The aim of this programme is to provide student’s basic understanding and skills pertinent to the pharmaceutical industry. Favourable student-instructor ratios are observed in the institute, with an enrolment capacity of 60 seats for the D. Pharma course. This confined approach enables the institute to offer only quality education and practical training in pharmacy.
